We spent two whole weeks together and he was such a darling! It’s so easy to get him wet! Hehe. OK Shaun is a Cyber-shot TX5. Sony’s first waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and heat-resistant camera! Targeted at consumers who lead an active outdoor lifestyle, Sony’s new Cyber-shot TX5 is the world’s slimmest waterproof digital still camera. I know I’m such a sucker for slim, pretty gadgets.

People were staring at me! They thought I was trying to do something stupid/crazy with Shaun. On my way home, realised that there’s paint function which allows me to edit the picture on the spot.
With a width of just 16.7mm, his waist is wayyy slimmer than mine. Haha. Oops I was about to say that it is no wonder he is the world’s slimmest waterproof compact camera. Sexy aesthetics aside, what I like best about Shaun is his intuitive touch screen and 25mm wide-angle lens, which offers the option of capturing photographs with more varied perspectives. Look at this plate of tasty pork belly shot via the Gourmet Shooting Mode when I visited Firestation Hillside Gastrobar last week.
Nope, I did not edit any of these pictures! And the following picture is taken right outside my window with the Landscape Mode. Me love love love the Cyber-shot TX5 25mm wide-angle lens.
Pss. Shaun is pretty sensitive. Equipped with the high-sensitivity Exmor R CMOS sensor, he delivers visually stunning photographs with increased detail and extremely low noise. Combined with an advanced BIONZ image processor and high performance Carl Zeiss lens, Shaun is able to capture photos even in extreme low light conditions, such as a scenic panoramic view of the city skyline at night, using the Handheld Twilight mode.
Come to think of it, Shaun the Cyber-shot TX5 is not only perfect camera for ladies who love the outdoors while staying in style but he’s also an eyecandy. All my girlfrends went ooh and ahh over his sleek gorgeous looks.
